Genius Hour 1.2
Photo Editing-Week Two
I must say week two was a little interesting. I was a little behind this week, not with what I accomplished, but when I got it done. I was out of town again for golf during the regular genius hour time, so I had to make it up over the weekend. This week I planned to edit a few photos on my computer using nothing but my prior knowledge. I have an iMac computer and used only its basic software to edit my photos. I am super pleased with the results I got, because this is the first time I have ever edited a photo on a computer. This is an example of one of the photos I edited this week using my computer.
Next week I will be researching the best programs I can use for both my phone and computer. I will try to familiarize myself with the programs with any extra time I have this week. I am very excited to start broadening my knowledge with editing.
These photos look great! They seem much sharper after your editing and it is easier to distinguish between different objects in the image. They almost look like they belong on a travel website. On another note, what are your plans for these edited photos? Are they for social media or do you have some other plan?
ReplyDeleteWhen I started this project I had no intentions for these photos beyond to gauge my process and progression. After just two weeks I realize that I am capable of so much. Now I intend to use my new skills to edit all my photos for social media, which will give a more professional look.
DeleteThis photo is very nostalgic for me because it brings back so many memories of the trip we took to Vietnam. I like how much the colors pop in the second one, and I believe you did the picture justice. They say that a picture says 1,000 words, but I think the night this picture was taken encompassed far more than that. 😂 I can’t wait to see how the other photos from this trip turn out on the advanced platforms. Do you think you could possibly send me some of the finish products? Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteI definitely could send you some of the finished products! Thanks for the support!
